Welcome! The cakes on this site were made by Wanda Mills in the log cabin she and her late husband, Bill Schnider, built in north Idaho. Their daughter, Bridgette Schnider, has many fond memories of her mother making cakes, being an official taste tester and eventually also helping. Wanda no longer makes cakes as she is now busy doing Bahá’í children’s classes in her area that are open to the public, gardening, printing and shipping Bridgette’s Quote Cards, maintaining her place and spending time with her new husband, Ron Mills, and their large families. Guests to her log home are often treated with a look through one of her cake photo albums and Bridgette wanted them on line so more people could enjoy them. Thus, the site. We hope you like the photos!
Even though Wanda isn’t making cakes anymore, she still has a lot of tips to offer people who are interested in cake decorating as well as tips on log home construction, baking, gardening, edible forest plants, task scheduling, raw or gluten-free meals, hand washing cloths, and starting classes for children.
Bridgette also has a web site www.iartgold.com and a video to show her art. The Quote Art items shown therein are designed by Bridgette, printed and cut by Wanda and originally financed by Bill, who was always an avid supported and encourager to both Wanda and Bridgette in their many creative and artistic efforts of the years.
